Employability in a digital age: Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp hosts event

The Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp will host a networking event on 4 May to promote the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵappshire launch of Northern Hive, encouraging regional businesses to engage with academics and students.

Employability in a Digital Age will open with a speech by Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Koen Lamberts, followed by a talk on 'Dancing with Data' from Dr Darren Reed, Lecturer in Sociology and Social Psychology.

A panel of employers from a spectrum of sectors, along with academics, will then share their perspectives on how to make connections in the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵappshire business community.

Northern Hive is a leading networking and professional community committed to promoting social inclusion and shaping the region's business community to celebrate and support Northern talent.

Kate Dodd, the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵapp’s Academic Registrar, said: “The University is thrilled to host the Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵappshire Launch event of Northern Hive. This is a brilliant opportunity to hear the latest thinking on graduate employability, from both academia and industry perspectives.

“This launch aligns with the University's continued aim to enhance graduate employability by engaging effectively with corporate partners and northern businesses.”
