The Executive Branch, "Executive Council", serves as the administrative arm of SGA. It is comprised of the Study Body President, Student Body Vice President, Chief Justice, and other members appointed at the discretion of the President.

The Legislative Branch, "Student Senate", serves as the body for drafting, completing, and voting on motions/proposals intended to be in the best interest of students. It is comprised of the Student Body Vice President, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, Clerk of the Senate, and Parliamentarian.

The Judicial Branch reviews concerns and violations associated with SGA and holds weekly traffic court for parking citations. It is comprised of the Chief Justice, Associate Justice, Clerk of Court, and Justices.

The SGA Judicial Branch Traffic Court hears all student, staff, and faculty parking citation appeals. Appeals can be made in-person or online. Court sessions are held every Thursday at 6:15 pm. Appeal decisions are given within one to two weeks of submission or court date. SGA Traffic Court does not have the ability to lower fines or hear moving violations. Any missed court dates will result in an upheld appeal.

For more information about the process, please read WCU Traffic Court Info.
