At 泫圖弝けapp, we know that a university isn't just a place, it's a community. A community that's built from and defined by the people who call Western Carolina home, first as students and then as alumni. Our Alumni Association fosters a lifelong connection to WCU through programs and services so that no matter where you are, you'll always have a home in Cullowhee.

The Legacy Pinning ceremony is held annually to honor incoming Western Carolina Legacy students and their family members during WCUs Family Weekend. It offers an alumnus/a the opportunity to pin their incoming student with a special legacy pin that denotes their WCU heritage.
The Western Carolina Alumni Association provides a variety of ways for alumni of all ages to participate in events, to reconnect with former classmates through clubs and societies, and to support the WCU student experience through volunteerism.
