Biography

<u>Bio</u>: Bachelor of Environmental Health Science with an emphasis on Occupational Safety and Health and a Masters’ Degree in Project Management earned from WCU.<br>I initially started my career in the Onsite Water Protection Section of the Jackson County NC Health Department and then moved into the Food, Lodging and Institution Program. I served the citizens of this county for seventeen years.<br><br><u>Personal Note</u>: I am inspired to try to always have a positive impact. I hope to assist students in my class to gain practical experience so that they are aligned with the skill set that employers are needing today.<br><br><u>Experience:</u> I joined the School of Health Sciences in 2019 as an Assistant Professor in the Environmental Health Sciences Department. Research Interests

Research Interest are centered around teaching and learning utilizing qualitative research parameters for use in Environmental Health Practice.
