A professional advisor is assigned to all newly admitted students based on the major
they select in Preregistration.
PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS ARE LOCATED IN THE FOLLOWING OFFICES:
Your advisor will build a tentative first term course schedule that is based on the
information you provided in Preregistration. A typical course load is 15-17 credit hours, which is 5 or 6 courses, but your advisor
may only build an initial schedule of 12-13 hours. Students will learn how to run/read
a degree audit and learn how to adjust their classes at orientation. Students will
have the ability to adjust (add and drop) classes at orientation; this ability will
continue through the drop/add deadline for the term.
