Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Friends of the Arts on Friday, January 24th from 5:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the Bardo Arts Center! This milestone event will take place before the performance of Light Chasers with Cloud Cult* later that evening in the Bardo Performance hall and will feature student performances, comments from former FOA chairs and Advisory Board members, and more as we reflect on the impact of FOA over the past 15 years. Enjoy a reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres, libations, and a celebratory cake cutting plus an exclusive gift for FOA members at the "Gold" level and above. Let鈥檚 toast to our past achievements and look forward to the exciting future of the arts at WCU!

Get ready to strum along at our first salon of the Spring 2025 season, "Uke Your Heart Out!" Join us on Tuesday, February 18th for a fun and interactive afternoon with the Music Education program. Lunch will be provided from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by an engaging ukulele lesson from 12:00 - 1:30 PM. Faculty and students will teach attendees basic strumming patterns and ukulele chords to popular songs. Whether you're a seasoned musician or a complete beginner, this promises to be a memorable experience!
