The fairy tale “The Sleeping Beauty” comes to Ƶapp in the form of ballet as the Sunday Cinema Series continues March 10 at 3 p.m. in the John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center.
“The Sleeping Beauty” is a prerecorded, encore screening from the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow. It is the second part to Tchaikovsky’s ballet trilogy, which includes “Swan Lake” and “The Nutcracker.”
The WCU Fine Art Museum will be open one hour prior to the screening. Concessions will available for purchase and can be taken in the performance hall during the screening.
